Research and Innovation Day

At Tanveer Ul Islam High School, we encourage students to learn beyond the boundaries of conventional classroom activities. Research and Innovation Day brings together a range of engaging experiences that allow students to explore their interests, think creatively, experiment with new ideas, and develop practical skills.

The program provides opportunities for students to strengthen their curiosity, creativity, communication, physical abilities, and digital awareness. By learning through exploration, collaboration, and hands-on activities, students gain confidence in discovering their potential and applying their knowledge in meaningful ways.

JoS – Joy of Sports

Joy of Sports provides students with opportunities to stay active, discover their sporting interests, and develop their physical abilities through a variety of games and activities. Alongside fitness and coordination, sports nurture important qualities such as teamwork, discipline, perseverance, responsibility, and self-confidence.

Through team activities and healthy competition, students learn to cooperate with others, respect rules and opponents, handle both success and setbacks, and develop a positive attitude towards an active and healthy lifestyle.

DEAR – Drop Everything and Read

DEAR – Drop Everything and Read encourages students to develop a regular reading habit in an enjoyable and relaxed learning environment. Students have dedicated time to explore books, stories, articles, and other reading materials that match their interests. This activity helps strengthen vocabulary, comprehension, concentration, imagination, and communication skills while nurturing independent and confident readers.

Through reading, reflection, and meaningful discussions, students are encouraged to discover new ideas, broaden their perspectives, and develop a lasting appreciation for books, knowledge, and learning.

Language Lab

The Language Lab creates an engaging environment where students can develop strong English language and communication skills. Through interactive speaking activities, listening exercises, conversations, and group practice, students become more comfortable expressing their thoughts and ideas. Regular practice helps improve their vocabulary, pronunciation, fluency, listening ability, and overall confidence.

By providing opportunities to communicate in a supportive setting, the Language Lab helps students use English more naturally and effectively in the classroom, in everyday interactions, and in future academic and professional settings.

Tech Hub

The Tech Hub gives students opportunities to explore technology through practical and interactive learning experiences. They develop essential digital skills while discovering how technology can be used for learning, research, creativity, communication, and problem-solving. Students are also guided towards safe, responsible, and purposeful use of digital tools.

Through hands-on activities and technology-based projects, students can experiment with new ideas, develop their digital confidence, and build the skills required to learn and participate effectively in an increasingly technology-driven world.

Art & Craft Lab

The Art & Craft Lab encourages students to explore their creativity and express their thoughts through hands-on artistic activities. Through drawing, painting, crafting, designing, and other creative projects, students strengthen their imagination, concentration, fine motor skills, and ability to express themselves visually.

Students are encouraged to experiment with different materials, colors, and techniques, giving them the freedom to develop their own ideas and create unique pieces of work. These experiences help nurture creativity, confidence, patience, and an appreciation for art.
